You already have the impression that you are in solidarity with these familiar and unfamiliar people. You arrive at the door, you know that you are in the right place, you are told that you can get support at any time if something doesn’t fit, and it is clear where and how.
It is a space where you also feel that you can speak up for yourself and where you are accepted. Where you can be. You follow the sound, the pounding rhythmic tones that already sound towards you. You stand in front of the speakers and can be, dance, and lose yourself in the music. This dance floor is yours!

B00STER CLUB is a DJ collective/Lab in Vienna and was founded in October 2023. We organize regular open sessions and meetings, workshops and the occasional party. However, our focus is not on organizing parties but more on making music together, connecting, getting to know more people, skillsharing and strengthening the community. We are working on a welcoming vibe and are looking for more kindness in the context of club culture. In our practice we try to center the space and the collective around BIPoC, trans and queers, but this does not mean that there is any form of identity-based policy on who can and cannot come.
Fra (he/him,they/them) is a DJ and visual artist based in Vienna. In all of his work the praxis of collectivity/sharing is a core value. Fra has his residency at B00STER CLUB, a DJ-collective that wants to embrace kindness, sharing, collectivity and community, centering Queers, trans and BIPoC. He himself is sometimes presenting as a slutty girl, sometimes just a shy boy. His sound can depend on his mood that day and ranges from slow, melancholic and sad to hyper, electric, peppy and rough. His music and way of mixing is always in relation to the people he makes music with. As music making for him is almost never an act of complete solitude. Fra entered the music scene through queer and feminist spaces, mostly DIY – in his own projects he tries to incorporate DIY and free party. Every set varies in the genres. Gawdesque (she/they) is a poet, model and DJ based in Vienna who embodies and celebrates their African heritage thru incorporating blends of Afrobeats, Amapiano, Baile Funk and more in her sets. With a sense for the eclectic, they’re eager to bring ✨️the vibes✨️ and aid in the creation of a conducive atmosphere and the burning of calories – in a fun way.

anxxxious_t likes to bend genres aswell as applying her arts background into clubculture through dj happenings, performances aswell as scenography and installations with KISSEN – a newly founded collective in Vienna that focuses on trans, non-binary and queer artists. The vibe of her own sets oscillates lately between Jersey club, Ballroom, Bass music, edits of pop hits and tracks with sexualised voices and language.
As a member of Booster Club, she is hosting their monthly radio show on Res radio.

In this workshop we will delve deeper into the creative process of VJ-ing, examining tools, techniques, visual design principles and applications.
The keyword here is start. I will show different possibilities of generating generative visuals with three different softwares:
Resolume Arena 7, VDMX 5 and MadMapper 5.4.2..
You can also bring your own clips or fotos, if you wish so.
We will also dive into some mapping basics and as we have more projectors available, you can also bring your favourite object that you would like to map.
It is a big time saver if you download the demo versions in advance.

Die freischaffende, 1987 in Rumänien geborene, bildende Künstlerin lebt seit 2007 in Wien.
Ihre Arbeit konzentriert sich auf die Visualisierung von Geschichten, Illusionen und Emotionen einer alternativen Welt, in der Farben, Lichter, Schatten und Kompositionen abgebildet werden. Diese immaterielle unbekannte stellt sie durch gemischte Künste wie Foto- oder Videografie, Projektionen und Design dar.
Als Mitgründerin des Kollektivs dornwittchen, bespielt sie, gemeinsam mit Szymon J. Olszowski, seit 2015 die Wiener Klubs, Seit 2017 arbeitet sie als freischaffende Künstlerin in Wien, überregional und international.
Dabei setzt sie ein breites Spektrum an Arbeiten um – von interaktiven Audio-Installationen, live Performances, Ausstellungen, oder visueller Gestaltung für Theaterproduktionen.
2021 organisierte sie in Kooperation mit dem Lichtbogen 334 und im Rahmen der Aktionstage der IG Club Kultur die Installation: Rave! Eine Ausstellung’ , die an der Spittelauer Lände 10 Tage lang besucht werden konnte. Unter dem Motto:“Endlich allein im Club“ konnten maximal vier Personen in einem inszenierten Club Atmosphäre für 25 Minuten tanzen und laute Musik hören. Ebenso wurde die Installation ‚Rave Reflections‘ im Red Carpet Showroom Schottentor von ihr gemeinsam mit der Zuckerlkettenfrau, Mehrdad Derafshi und dem Primavera Festival Wien inszeniert und umgesetzt.

17h – 20h djing-workshop: beatmatching
this dj-workshop will focus on beatmatching and mixing. This basically means: how to match two songs together, so you can play them together and it sounds good. In this workshop, we will also practice to beatmatch without sync and master. This skill is important because sometimes you play at venues where there is older equipment or the songs are not analyzed properly so you need to be able to beatmatch without the beatmatch-functions of the equipment. As we want to have enough time to go into detail about beatmatching and mixing we won’t
explain all the basics of djing in the program itself BUT we will be there to answer your questions and explain the things you need.
We will practice on CDJs nexus 2000 which is basically the model (or similar to the model) you play on most of the time when you play at a club.
what you should bring: as we won’t explain all the basics from the beginning some experience with djing would be nice so you can get something out of it BUT it really does not have to be a lot. The workshop is meant for beginners, newbies, and everyone who wants to practice a bit.
we would recommend that you bring a USB stick with your own music, preferably with your music already analyzed in rekordbox (but we will also bring music, so this is not a must)

They started as a DJ duo in the end of 2019 with DJ sets and riot visuals by some good friends for generating money and attention to solidarity projects. Due to the forced timeout during pandemic paths split .At the moment subversiv_nachtaktiv is a one person DJ and producing project collecting experiences also in the club scene (but open to expand again and transform into a collective).
As a gender non confirming human being that’s often challenging but also a chance to grow in autonomy and self love and to draw attention on structural injustices in nightlife. They is one of the founders of the 2023 born EAT network which aims to empower flinta*djs and transform the club scene in and around Innsbruck.

Für diesen Workshops ist das Ziel gesetzt, einen Einstieg und Grundlagenwissen und Wissen zu Awarenessarbeit zu vermitteln. Im Workshop “Awareness Basics für den Alltag” sollen alle Interessierten auf den gleichen Wissensstand gebracht werden und gemeinsam geschaut werden, wo und wie sich diese Grundlagen im Alltag anwenden lassen.
Der Workshop bietet einen ersten kleinen Einstieg in das Themenfeld und bietet Einblick in die Begriffe und theoretische Konzepte, um die es beim Thema Awareness geht. Im Zuge des Workshops werden gemeinsame Begrifflichkeiten ge- bzw. erklärt. Es werden unter anderem die Konzepte von Definitionsmacht, Parteilichkeit, Unterstützungsarbeit erklärt; was Begriffe wie ‘verursachende’ und ‘betroffene Person’ bedeuten oder was Trigger sind.
Es geht um eine kritische Diskussion über sexistisches Verhalten, Diskriminierung, Macht der Sprache, Einschränken der Freiheit von Personen sowie solidarisches Feiern. Es geht um Fragen, wie wir bei Übergriffen, die wir mitbekommen, gut supporten können, ohne selbst Expert_innen zu sei. Oder darum was wir selbst tun können, wenn wir von Diskriminierung und/oder Gewalt betroffen sind. Wir schaffen mit Awarenessarbeit einen Rahmen der diesen einschränkenden Verhaltensweisen organisiert entgegengewirkt werden kann und so gemeinsam ein solidarischer, achtsamer Raum geschaffen werden kann. Anhand ausgewählter Texte bzw. Textausschnitte werden wir erst in Kleingruppen, abschließend dann alle gemeinsam, erarbeiten, was diese Begriffe für uns in der Praxis, im Freundeskreis, auf Partys, im Vereins und Verbandsleben etc. bedeuten können.
Für den Workshop ist kein Vorwissen zum Thema nötig.
Der Workshop findet in deutscher Lautsprache statt, ist interaktiv gestaltet und arbeitet mit unterschiedlichen Medien und Methoden.

Selena Pommes ist das Update der Techno-DJ & Produzentin lena:k und Veranstalterin der Eventserie Maschinenraum (zwischen 2013 und 2019 im Werk und im Venster99). Konnte lena:k noch dem dark and foggy Berghain Techno Genre und deren Subkulturen zugeordnet werden, versucht sie mit ihrem neuen Partykollektiv Global Fyre 2099 (gemeinsam mit den Künstler*innen Shinsekai und Shamaniboi) bewusst die Grenzen von Clubmusik, deren Orte, deren Tür- und Preispolitik und deren Ästhetik frisch auszuloten. Schande is a viennese DJ with an obsession for powerful and diverse electronic music. As co-founder of the collective Ärger, she also takes part in organizing parties and raves which are brought into a political context through creating safer spaces.
Her soft spot is techno, combined with different genres and styles like acid, club, breakbeats and many more

Gemeinsam starteten die beiden Hypertrash, eine Fusion von Hyperpop und Trashpop, es wird vereint was (nicht) vereint gehört. Euer neues lieblings DJ- und Veranstaltungsduo ist schnell, laut, bunt, und unausstehlich.

queue-T started their career with reclaiming the aux cable from stupid bros who had no respect for the holy queue. to get back at them with his dj sets t decided to play extremely cutesy genrequeer bubble gum poppy stuff at random moments. other than that, since she is indecisive by nature t just plays all the genres available on its stick if it gets the chance

DJ মm i am মm. (read: mo), a DJ, curator and community organizer living in between Dhaka and Vienna. I curate playlists and mix DJ sets along historic and socio-cultural movements of sounds and music and, when possible, I try to evoke the listener’s nostalgia. My sets feature genres ranging from popular Bollywood music, soca and baile to hip-hop, hard percussions and techno, really depending on the mood and space. It is really important for me in my work to be always in conversation with the dancefloor and, often, critical of how such spaces are made and for whom.

ISSA – wir sind ein recht neues DJ Duo aus Innsbruck, sind Mitbewohnerinnen und heißen ISSA, wir spielen so zwischen 130 und 150 Bpm, vor allem Techno, Breakbeat und leichte trance Akzente 🙂 und sind Teil des Eat Netzwerkes in Innsbruck.

FOE (she/her) ist eine FINTA* Dj aus Wien. Nach jahrelangem frönen elektronischer Musik vor dem Mischpult, steht sie seit diesem Jahr dahinter. Ihr dynamischer Sound pendelt derzeit zwischen Hardgroove, 90ies Trance und Acid ist aber stetiger wandelbar – die einzigen Konstanten sind ein harter melodischer Sound und +140 BPM.

Glitzer & Bass – der Name ist Programm: Marie bringt mit ihrem Glitzer-Outfit die Decks zum Funkeln & mit ihrem treibenden Sound den Dancefloor zum Beben. Von Indie Dance über Tech House zu Peak Time Techno ist alles in ihrem musikalischen Repoirtoire.
