Vielen vielen Dank, dass ihr so zahlreich erschienen seid! Wir sind fleißig an der Nachbereitung und freuen uns darauf, in ein paar Monaten mit den Vorbereitungen für das nächste große “Grund für…” Solifest anzufangen!

Hinter der Reihe Grund fur___ stehen nicht nur Soundsysteme und linke Orgas mit emanzipatorischen Anspruch. Beteiligt ist vor allem auch die Recht auf Stadt-Initiative 4lthangrund für Alle. Wir sehen in der Aneignung der Alten WU eine Form politischer Platznahme und wollen damit einen niederschwellig zugänglichen Kulturraum für Alle schaffen. Ziel ist es das der Althangrund und der Platz der dort Vorhanden ist Teil einer solidarischen Stadt werden.
Wir bespielen unser Gebäude allerdings auch anders: das ganze Jahr über finden dort Workshops, Vorträge, Lesekreise, Parties und mehr statt!
Diese Chance wollen wir auch nutzen, euch zu zeigen, was unsere Initiative sonst organisiert!
Es gibt einen Infoladen vor Ort, eine Foodcoop die jeden 2.Dienstag geöffnet hat und über die ihr regionales Gemüse beziehen könnt. Wir haben außerdem jeden Mittwoch für kollektiven Bürobetrieb geöffnet.
Nächtes Event: unser Lesekreise zu „Recht auf Stadt“ von Henri Lefebvre.
Wir wollen das Buch kapitelweise lesen und dazu bei Kaffee, Tee und Kuchen über die darin enthaltenen Konzepte, deren Implikation und was diese für die politische Praxis bedeuten, diskutieren. Texte sind vorhanden.
Die ersten beiden Termine stehen auch schon:
1. Mittwoch, der 13.11., 18 Uhr
2. Mittwoch, der 27.11., auch 18 Uhr
Beides @Wolke, Alte WU, Augasse 2-6, 1090 Wien.
Alle weiteren Termine werden nach Ermessen der Gruppe vereinbart (und dann natürlich auch bekanntgegeben).
Wir sehen uns spätestens im Frühjahr, beim nächsten “Grund für …”!

Behind the “Grund für ___”-series are not only sound systems and left-wing orgas with emancipatory aspiration. 4lthangrund for everyone, an right to city initiative is mainly involved. We perceive the appropriation of the old WU as a form of political articulation with the goal to create a cultural space accesible for all. The goal is that the area of Althangrund and the space that is avaliable there becomes part of a solidary city.
However, we also use our space in many ways: there are workshops, lectures, reading circles, parties and more throughout the year!
We also want to use this opportunity to show you what else our initiative organizes!
There is an infolade on site, a foodcoop open every 2nd Tuesday and where you can buy local vegetables. We also open every Wednesday for collective office.
Next event: our reading circle on “Right to City” by Henri Lefebvre.
We want to read the book in chapters and discuss the concepts they contain, thjeir implications and what they mean for political practise – all over coffee, tea and cake . Texts are available (in german). The discussions will also take place in German. We will attempt to provide translations if required.
The first two dates are already fixed:
1st Wednesday, the 13th of November, 6 pm
2nd Wednesday, the 27th of November, also 6pm
Both @Wolke, Alte WU, Augasse 2-6, 1090 Wien.
All other dates are agreed on at the discretion of the group (and then of course announced).
